The Ten Sinful Women In Islam. Islam is the only religion that uplifts the status of women. The Quran and hadith have left no stone unturned when it comes to dealing with women– from how to associate with them to how to live peacefully with them. Women are the mothers of all mankind and the cause of mankind’s miseries.
Women in Islam are like jewels; very fragile yet strong and their status in Islam is incomparable to men. The Prophet (SAW) was asked:
“Which of the parents have a higher status?” He replied, “The one who for nine months kept you between her two sides (stomach), and then brought you into this world and gave you milk from her breasts.” [Mustadrak al-Wasāil, vol. 2, pg. 628]
Also, Imam as-Sadiq (AS) narrates:
“Allah has given every woman the patience of 10 men, and during pregnancy, Allah grants her the ability of 10 more men.” [Mustadrak al-Wasāil, vol. 10, pg. 46]
A pious woman help brings up a pious ummah and a cursed woman will bring up an unfortunate generation. This is how important women are in this world. This article looks into ten of the accursed women as mention in the hadith.
#1. Tattooing: the one who does it and the one who gets it done.
it is narrated that ‘Abd-Allaah ibn Mas’ood (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: “May Allah curse the women who do tattoos and those for whom tattoos are done, those who pluck their eyebrows and those who file their teeth for the purpose of beautification and alter the creation of Allaah.” (al-Bukhaari, al-Libaas, 5587; Muslim, al-Libaas, 5538).

The Prophet replied, “They are ungrateful to their husbands and are ungrateful for the favours and the good (charitable deeds) done to them. If you have always been good to one of them and then she sees something in you (not of her liking), she will say, ‘I have never received any good from you.”
